SOLIDWORKS PCB Rookie Camp Part I: Schematic Symbol Wizard

The anticipation for a new season of American football builds every year. That furor peaks in August as 32 teams report for training camp! At GSC’s Green Bay location, we have front-row seats to the excitement as the local franchise (located just a mile down the road!) celebrates 100 years as an organization.

As a fan of the purple and gold, I can appreciate the tradition of such a long-standing team so renown they play in what is more commonly known as “Titletown.” In “Titletown,” every new season brings a new hope for another trophy for the team’s legendary Hall of Fame. And, each year, the journey toward the trophy starts when the team’s newest additions arrive in town for their first rookie camp!

As a newer addition to the SOLIDWORKS roster, PCB is still working hard to build its legacy. With new features like the Schematic Symbol Wizard, it’s turning heads with its blinding speed as it helps you crank out new symbols with loads of data pasted directly from your datasheets!

Spend less time studying the playbook and more time making plays on your next design!

Timing is everything! By cutting down your library creation time, it means you’ll have more time for everything else! Watch as an LM555 timer chip schematic symbol is built in seconds, including pasting in the datasheet information using the Schematic Symbol Wizard in SOLIDWORKS PCB!
