SOLIDWORKS Performance Enhancements 2019-2022

One of the great things about being a SOLIDWORKS user is that the software is always being developed and enhanced to improve user experience, innovation, and productivity. On the flip side, it can be challenging to stay on top of the new features, especially if you’re a more casual user.

Over the past four releases, there have been some significant enhancements in terms of performance, so I thought it would be a good idea to make a presentation outlining SOLIDWORKS Performance Enhancements from 2019 to 2022.

SOLIDWORKS 2019 saw the beginning of a multi-year effort to make the software faster across the board.

The Events Team at Dassault Systems SOLIDWORKS thought it was a good idea too, and they accepted my proposal to present at 3DEXPERIENCE World 2022! Originally, I planned on doing a live in-person presentation, but the event shifted to an all-virtual event, so I decided to create a recording. On the bright side, that means I can post it here on our blog, so anyone can watch it, anytime.
