MEET YOUR PRESENTERS

Doug Piazza, GSC 3D | Expanding Possibilities: GSC’s End-to-End Additive Manufacturing Ecosystem

Learn about GSC’s end-to-end engineering and manufacturing solutions, anchored by our long-term partnership with Markforged. This also marks the debut of our exciting new partnership with Formlabs, further broadening the range of applications our customers can address—from prototyping to production. Together, these solutions help customers accelerate development cycles, reduce manufacturing costs, improve part performance, and scale additive adoption with confidence.

Tom McClaughry, PMP | From Prototype to Production: Driving Real-World Impact with Additive Manufacturing

Tom McClaughry, PMP, is an experienced manufacturing and technology leader focused on additive manufacturing and digital transformation. He helps organizations improve how parts are designed and produced by applying advanced manufacturing technologies in practical ways. Tom works closely with engineering and operations teams to identify high-impact applications that drive efficiency and scalability. His approach centers on moving beyond prototyping into production-ready solutions. At this event, he will share insights on how companies are leveraging additive technologies to increase agility and reduce costs. He has also recently launched an engineering and 3D printing business as a growth initiative for Perfect Plastic Printing.

Katelyn Kingsley, Formlabs | How Formlabs Can Move the Needle for Your Company

Katelyn Kingsley is a Channel Manager at Formlabs, where she works closely with partners to drive growth and enable successful adoption of additive manufacturing solutions. In this session, she will provide an overview of the Formlabs ecosystem, including its material offerings and real-world customer applications. Katelyn will also highlight manufacturing-focused case studies, showcasing proven results from industry leaders such as Eaton, Presto Products, and Thermo Fisher Scientific.

Jeff Quackenboss & Matt Stevens | Mechanical Design Technology Instructors, Moraine Park Technical College

These instructors will highlight how 3D printing is integrated into multiple student learning experiences across our programs. Examples include printing core and cavity molds for plastic injection molding, creating end-of-arm tooling for robotic automation, and producing custom fixtures for manufacturing workpieces. The latter applications are part of a year-long capstone course where students from three different programs collaborate to design components or assemblies and develop the processes needed to manufacture them.
